| 2009 APIRA
Beijing Annual Conference will be held in the Beijing Friendship
Hotel, which is the largest garden hotel in Asia and well-known
for its large area and typical folk style. A map of Beijing indicating
the location of the venue, Friendship Hotel is included for your
reference. The best way to get to the venue from the airport is
either by taxi or airport shuttle.

want to prepare a card and print your destination in Chinese on
it. The corresponding Chinese for “Friendship Hotel” is “友谊宾馆”.
For example, you can show the driver a card saying “请带我去友谊宾馆”, which
means “please drive me to the Friendship Hotel”. |

you are to take a taxi…… |

| ·One-way
ride from the Beijing Capital International Airport to the Friendship
Hotel (友谊宾馆) costs around RMB 100 and might be more depending on
the traffic. You would also need to pay the highway fee (RMB 10).

ready before getting out the airport as credit cards are not acceptable
for almost all the taxies. |

bus ticket from the Beijing Capital International Airport to the
Friendship Hotel (友谊宾馆) costs RMB 16 as of April 2009. Tickets are

might serve as a good reference for you. Bus Route No. 4 has a stop
called “Friendship Hotel”, which is located across the North Gate
of the Hotel. |
